To integrate the visual arts into the cultural and educational life of the campus and community by providing quality exhibitions and programs that are diverse in style, content, and media; memorable, thought-provoking, and spiritually enriching; and of artistic originality, integrity, and excellence.
The OSilas Gallery enriches the educational life of the College and the community through high quality, diverse exhibitions. Exhibitions encompass a diverse range of genres and styles, including historic, contemporary and new media, as well as lectures, workshops, and art tours. Exhibitions and Educational Programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
Gallery events integrate with academic and art programs at Concordia, offering educational programs, Gallery internships, a Gallery course, and an annual Concordia student exhibition.
ArtyFacts Free Children’s Art Program for young aspiring artists brings children into the Gallery to explore and learn about exhibitions, followed by hands-on projects in the Concordia Art Studio.
The OSilas Gallery encourages and supports aspiring artists of all ages through annual exhibitions of local high school and Art at Concordia student art.
Concerts in the Gallery complement and enhance exhibition themes and feature our celebrated Concordia Conservatory faculty.
