CIVA presents the fifth leadership development gathering for women in the arts: Doing Good Well 2020
For the arts to thrive, we need the leaders of our arts organizations to thrive. Good leadership requires a strong sense of self—an ability to tend to one’s own soul in order to better lead the souls around us.
Doing Good Well is CIVA’s signature program of leadership development, providing a unique experience for women who want to work, study, or serve in the visual arts. Gather with other emerging leaders who wish to generate positive social change in a variety of arts-based settings. Come enjoy rich hospitality, engaging dialogue, and spiritual encouragement.
Registration opens March 15, 2020.
Program leaders and schedule details to come.
Date: July 12-14, 2020
Location: Marianist Retreat Center
4000 Highway 109, Eureka, MO 63025
Who Should Attend?
The ideal participant for Doing Good Well will be a Christian woman who is passionate about the arts, whether she be a fine artist, designer, art historian, art critic, arts administrator, student, educator, or theologian. She desires to see her Christian faith and creativity come together to influence positive change. In short, if you are seeking leadership development in the arts, you are welcome.
Doing Good Well is open to women of all ages and ability as space allows. In previous years, we required interested parties to submit an application. However, for our 2020 program we have switched to an open registration—no application necessary.
