About the Curators

Ginger Henry Geyer
Lead Curator
Ginger Geyer has served as juror for numerous competitive exhibitions, and as curator has originated around 100 shows, primarily for the Cody Center Gallery at Laity Lodge, Kerrville, TX where she developed the art program for 15 years. As an artist she has exhibited internationally, including artist residencies in Rome, Vancouver, Dallas and Tuscany. As a museum consultant, she has recently been involved in envisioning and programming for two upcoming art museums in Dallas. The growing edge in her work is to explore the relevance and beauty of the Gospel in contemporary times alongside the numbing apathy that distortions of a privileged white Christian life can render.

Asher Imtiaz
Initiating Curator
Born and raised in Pakistan, Asher Imtiaz is a portrait and documentary photographer. Asher moved to the United States in 2012 for graduate studies and now lives and works in Wisconsin. His early work focused on religious and minority groups in Pakistan. For the last few years, his main focus is on photographing immigrant refugees and asylum seekers moving to the United States.
