Opportunities for artists to submit their work for exhibitions, events, and art-related collaborations are listed below. CIVA members are invited to post calls for art at no charge. Non-members are also welcome to post calls for art, however, there is a $50 fee for this service.

Location: Sojourn Arts, Louisville, KY
Details: Sojourn Arts is mailing out up to one hundred 8×10” panels, one to each participating artist. Each artist will start a panel that another artist will complete. Each artist will finish a panel that someone else started. Each artist will have their work exhibited and have a printed zine-style catalog of each piece from the exhibit. Artworks will be auctioned online with 50% going to the artists and 50% going towards Sojourn Arts interns’ travel expenses for the upcoming CIVA conference.

Details: THE MOVING EXPERIENCE is a collaborative effort of Thrive church, leading community artists, expert musicians, and experienced mental health professionals. We have come together to help the community address this mental health crisis. Our vision is to provide an experience that will help the exhibit attendee recognize and acknowledge their emotions through the power of art and music. This experiential art exhibit will allow one to journey from the shock associated with loss of normalcy, through grief, anger, towards acceptance, purpose and hope. Details: The mission and purpose of CIVA has always centered around community. In order to foster that ethos of dialogue and connection, each session centers around a topic.
