Arts Program
As the Liturgical Arts Bunch (or LAB) for Christ Church we seek to draw people more deeply into a relationship with God and God’s world through images, symbols, and color. Our ministry includes making new art work as needed, installing (and establishing installation procedures for) seasonal hangings and artwork, conferring on gift guidelines, and maintaining and repairing existing artwork. Projects are done by or under the guidance of LAB, the congregation, or individuals within it.
We regard our church building itself, an award-winning work by architect Paul Thiry, as a work of art and strive to keep artwork, installations, and gifts in harmony with the intention, use, and visual aesthetic of the building.
